The Nude Scribe

Nude Scribe

Here I stand nude
with imperfections
naked with truth
if it is truth that be told
life tapestry unfold
before the world eyes
without embellishment
without lies
no malcontent
prejudice
it is the pain of truth one finds offensive
shielded by arcane sins buried in the treasure chest of life
the invisibility of the mental quill
thoughts provoked by conscious
the tongue a filthy often wicked piece of pink fleshy muscle meat
torture by deception
a tool of twisted tales
confronted by change
often cut out
silence the devil
ah but the mind brought to justice by the heart
it is a fools request to stop the quill
the mind
the heart full of truth
thus you would have to kill the nude scribe

and this poem proves just that! Great Title, superb imagery, and good flow
make this a very memorable piece!

Hello
4
I feel like some of the longer lines
could be broken into two lines therefor
making the piece more pleasing to the eye.
for example:

the tongue a filthy often wicked
piece of pink fleshy muscle meat

my favorite lines are:

Here I stand nude
with imperfections
naked with truth
if it is truth that be told
life tapestry unfold
before the world eyes
without embellishment
without lies
no malcontent
prejudice

Always, Cat
