bowls with
a carnival
of spice
peppered days,
and salty
hate-filled 
nights.
Crowds swirl
in huge pots.
He tells them
that the body
of language,
the need for it,
is to peel one's
skin off and
be duplicitous,
mockery, deceitful,
to be layers in
